ABOUT

Nadia Aldea is a multi-talented artist who finds joy and fulfillment in expressing herself through writing and abstract painting. Seamlessly transitioning between mediums, she unleashes her creativity through vibrant colors, shapes, figures, textiles, and textures to create pieces that evoke emotion. Her artistic process reflects her individuality and constant drive to push creative boundaries, manifesting new ideas into unique works of art. This versatility allows her to explore different facets of her identity while connecting with others on a deeper level, inspiring thought and emotion.

At the core of Nadia’s practice are her deeply held beliefs: that creativity lives within all of us, that kindness is never overrated, and that we must always speak our truth—even when it hurts. She believes in lifelong learning, in the importance of setting boundaries, and in never settling for easy answers. Her work often echoes these values, encouraging introspection, courage, and the power of change—no matter your age or stage in life. Above all, she holds onto hope as essential.

As a late-diagnosed autistic woman, Nadia creates from pure intuition—unaffected by trends or outside influences. Her neurodivergence helps her see and feel the world differently, which translates into artwork that is raw, honest, and entirely her own. Each piece is a reflection of inner truth, not imitation—impossible to replicate and deeply personal.

Residing in West Vancouver with her husband, three children, and two dogs, she balances her artistic pursuits with family life. When not painting or writing, she enjoys reading and cherishing time with her loved ones. Above all, her greatest accomplishment is her family.

Her artwork has found homes worldwide, including in New York and Florida, USA; Vancouver and Edmonton, Canada; Martin, Slovakia; and Recife, Brazil. Each collector connection reflects the universal appeal and emotional resonance her work fosters across the globe.
